In the future, you’ll be able to install Galerio onto your site in a single process. Until then, you’ll need to install the CMS, theme and additional components manually.
Starting with fresh WordPress install on server:
- Install the Galerio CMS:
- Install Pods framework plugin
- Download Galerio Pods package from repository
- Import package using Pods’ Import/Export Packages menu
- Install the Galerio theme (optional):
- Download Galerio theme from repository
- Install and activate the Galerio theme
- Install additional recommended (free) plug-ins to replicate planned functionality (optional):
- Custom Upload Dir – to keep uploaded files organised (note: not updated recently)
- Enable Media Replace – to allow easier replacing of uploaded media in-place
- Post Type Switcher – for easily switching posts between Galerio’s page types
- WP-Sweep – to help keep database tables optimised
